Vered Blonstein, a SAG/AFTRA actress, writer and producer works at Jeff Olan Casting as a casting director on movies and TV series, including the feature film "Samaritan" and other projects.
Performing since she was born, Vered was discovered at 4-years-old by a New York City commercial casting director. Unable to accept the principal role in a Snuggles commercial due to scheduling conflicts, Vered continued studying and performing in theatre, winning superior awards at statewide thespian competitions.
After declining an invitation to work in Israeli soap operas because of travel conflicts, Vered booked lead roles in feature films. Soon booked in a principal role on a national commercial and having joined SAG, Vered moved to LA. Vered's credits are on IMDb.
Following one meeting with Vered, Jeff Olan recognized Vered’s natural eye and intuitive skill for casting and made her the youngest member of his casting team. Vered auditioned to play a principal role as a teen goth on MTV's "The Hard Times of RJ Berger," and was soon known for both casting and acting on the show.
Vered is passionate about her veganism (being gluten-free and preferring raw foods), travel, film, photography, art, reading, writing and music. She is dedicated to having a positive impact on society and experiencing life to its fullest. Vered loves interacting with all the wonderful actors she gets to book at Jeff Olan Casting and always appreciates their positive energy.
Vered speaks Hebrew fluently ('Vered' means 'rose' - the flower - in Hebrew) and is a fantastic hula hooper.
